In order to check the status of your income tax refund, you can visit the NSDL TIN website:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NSDL TIN.
Step 2: Enter your assessment year and PAN card details as required.
Step 3: Click on the “Proceed” button to view the status of your refund.
What to Do If You Don’t Receive Your Refund on Time?
If you don't receive your refund within 10 days, check the following ways to get an idea of the reason for the delay:
- Check for any notifications about errors in your ITR.
- Check for emails from the Income Tax Department regarding your refund.
- Keep an eye on your refund status via the e-filing portal or the NSDL TIN website.
- Ensure the bank account linked to your PAN is correct and active to avoid delays.
