Makemytrip Launched Application Called Routeplanner to Empower Travelers

MakeMyTrip, one of the largest tourism-related online portals in India on 5 February 2013 launched the RoutePlanner, an innovative application which makes people’s traveling easier and faster. RoutePlanner actually combines the availability of various services such as trains, cabs, buses and flights and displays exact connectivity options that lie between two destinations in India.

RoutePlanner also allows the users to check various routes for destination pair. It allows a person to plan the trip between any two diverse destinations in India by putting together various modes of transport across 4300 cities, 2300 flight routes, 65000 bus routes and 970000 train routes.

MakeMyTrip announced that it made use of the technology as well as innovation for empowering the travelers.
