Google AI Now Available in 9 Indian Languages: Get Answers in Your Language

Google has introduced new AI features at the Google for India 2024 event. The new features aim to give every citizen in India a better digital experience. A major introduction at the function was the Gemini AI Assistant, which is currently accessible in nine Indian languages: Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu. 

Google also added AI-powered search features that provide faster and more accurate answers. This will help users get information in just seconds thus improving customer service. 

Google AI Now in 9 Indian Languages

Google's Gemini mobile app, an AI assistant, is helping people in India with various tasks, such as academic assistance, creative projects, and understanding complex information.

At the event, Google also launched Gemini Live in Hindi. In the coming weeks, 8 more Indian languages will be added: Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu.

New Advanced Features in Google

Google has come up with new advanced features for its customers. Check some of its features below:

• AI Overview: A good example of how Google is improving its customer services is by making it easier to ask questions with the AI overview. The new feature uses the Gemini model created specifically for Google Search.
• Google Lens: Google Lens is also changing search by allowing users to search using videos and ask complex questions about moving objects.
• Google Maps Weather Alert: In the meantime, Google made some significant modifications to Google Maps, enabling the sending of real-time weather alerts about two additional conditions: flooded roads and fog-related limited visibility zones. 
• AI in Google Maps: New AI feature in Google Maps makes it easier to explore the world. Now, one can search for the perfect restaurant for a special occasion with the help of helpful information AI will provide.

Google AI to Improve Digital Health Infrastructure

Google aims to help people live longer and healthier lives by offering health solutions through its tools and technology.

As part of this effort, Google is supporting the Government of India's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), led by the National Health Authority.

These new updates launched during the Google for India 2024 event further reinforce Google's commitment to bringing "AI for every Indian."
