This is for the second time that the prices are getting increased. The higher prices will impact restaurants, hotels, and other businesses that rely on these cylinders.
Last month, in September, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was also increased by ₹39. This increase follows a July 1 price reduction that was meant to lower expenses for companies and retail spaces. The cost of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 30 during that adjustment.
The price of commercial LPG cylinders has gone up by about ₹87 over the last two months.
How will This Price Hike Affect General Public?
This price increase would directly impact restaurants, lodging facilities, and other commercial businesses that depend on these cylinders for everyday operations.
The new increased prices of commercial LPG cylinders have already come into effect. This decision for a rise in prices comes just before the start of the festive season. It has affected the cost structure of small-scale businesses that depend on LPG for their cooking and operating requirements. This increase might raise operating costs for the impacted industries, which could raise final consumer prices across a range of industries.
