Pamela Anderson Named Person of the Year by PETA

Pamela Anderson, famous for Baywatch serial was on 31 December 2010 named the Person of the Year by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). She was selected for the honour in recognition of her endeavours to end animal cruelty. Anderson has made a number of contributions to raise awareness about animal welfare and animal rights. She posed for pictures with her body painted in butcher markings. Anderson was part of commercials for anti-fur campaign. Pamela Anderson is a well-known Canadian-American actress and activist.
