The line angrezon ke mitra Scindia ne chhodi rajdhani thi in the famous poem Khoob ladi mardani who toh… has been omitted in the new Hindi textbook of class VI in Madhya Pradesh. The poem was written by Subhadra Kumari Chouhan.
The line in the poem was never contested by the present members of Scindia family. They said it could be a historical fact but they were not responsible for what happened 150 years ago. Scindias were the erstwhile rulers of Gwalior.
