Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters was voted World Tennis Association (WTA) women Player of the Year for a second time on 1 December 2010. She had won the U.S. Open title for a third time in September 2010. She had also won titles in Brisbane, Miami, Cincinnati and Doha in 2010. Clijsters was named Player of the Year back in 2005 after she had won her career’s first U.S. Open title.
