Young Indian batsman Tilak Verma scored his first T20 international century in the third and final T20 match against South Africa at Supersport Park in Centurion on Wednesday, October 13th. Tilak’s explosive innings helped him set several records.

Tilak Verma smashed a rapid century off just 51 balls, including eight fours and seven sixes, helping India reach a massive total of 219/6 in 20 overs. Coming in at number 3 after Sanju Samson was dismissed in the first over, Tilak delivered an incredible performance.
Tilak Verma: 2nd Youngest Indian With T20 Century
At 22 years and five days old, Tilak became the second youngest Indian to score a T20 International century in men’s cricket, just behind Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal achieved his century at the age of 21 years and 279 days against Nepal in the 2023 Asian Games.
