Veteran Bollywood actor Bob Christo who had essayed the role of a villain in Hindi films of the eighties and nineties expired in Bangalore on 20 March 2011. Christo who was of Australian origin made waves in Indian films when he was introduced by actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan in the film Abdullah.
Though qualified to be a civil engineer his good looks got him modelling assignments. He acted in more than 200 films. He acted in movies like Kaalia, Mard, Nastik, Qurbani, Mr India, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja and Gumraah.
The actor's biography, Flashback: My Times in Bollywood and Beyond, was to be released by Akshay Kumar in June 2011.
