Google CEO Sundar Pichai on July 13, 2020 announced an investment worth Rs. 75,000 crore , which is approximately $10 billion, in India over the next 5-7 years through the ‘Google for India Digitization Fund’.

The Supreme Court upheld the rights of the Travancore royal family in administration and management of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The long-awaited verdict was delivered on July 13, 2020.

Sachin Pilot was removed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan on July 14, 2020. The announcement was made by senior Congress leader and the party's national spokesperson, Randeep Singh Surjewala. Sachin Pilot has also been removed as the Rajasthan Congress Committee Chief.

The ruling People's Action Party (PAP) yet again scripted its victory in the Singapore Elections 2020. The final results showed that the PAP had retained power but its support was reported to have fallen to a record low. The general elections were held on July 10, 2020.
