These puzzles come in all shapes and sizes, from logic problems to wordplay challenges, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
These wordplay riddles or visual conundrums demand creative thinking and fresh perspectives. Often disguised as simple problems, they force us to think outside the box, making the "aha!" moment of discovery all the more satisfying.
Brain teasers are a delightful way to exercise your cognitive muscles, boost critical thinking skills, and keep your mind sharp.
So, what exactly is a brainteaser? It's a type of puzzle that requires thought and unconventional thinking to solve. Unlike a math problem with a clear path to the answer, brainteasers often have misleading clues or require you to approach the problem from a different angle.
This "lateral thinking" strengthens critical thinking and problem-solving skills, making them a great way to keep your mind sharp.

Find the Weight of Animals: Solution
Source: BrightSide
There are a total of three animals in the image lets take the weight of the following animals to be:
Cat = X
Duck = Y
Sheep = Z
The image shows the weight of three cats together so we have:
X+X+X= 12 kgs
So, 3X = 12
X= 12/3
X= 4
So, the weight of one cat is 4 kgs
Coming to the second equation we have a duck and a cat being weighed together which means
X+Y= 5 kgs
Taking the weight of cat from the above we have
4+Y=5
Y=4-5
So, the weight of a single duck is 1 kgs
Coming to the third equation we have a duck and a sheep and when their weights subtract it comes to 99 which means
Z-Y= 99
Taking the weight of duck from the above we get
Z-1=99
Z=99+1
Z= 100 kgs
So, the weight of a sheep is 100 kgs
Coming to the last equation, we have a duck, a sheep and a cat weighed together which means
X+Y+Z=?
Taking the weight of all the animals we get
4+1+100= 105
So, the combined weight of all the animals together is 105 kgs
