5th Chhatron Ki Goonj On September 19 In Indore, Rahul Gandhi Seeks Student Feedback

Rahul Gandhi is coming to Indore with his Chhatron ki Goonj initiative. The leader of opposition in the lok sabha will hold the fifth edition of this event in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on September 19, 2026. He wants every student in the nation to share their problems and suggestions about the education system. The announcement came on Thursday, September 10, 2026 through a post on X. Four Cities Already Covered

So far the Congress leader has held four Chhatron ki Goonj events in Kota, Dehradun, Prayagraj and Pune. The last event was organised in Pune on August 22, 2026 and it was specially for girl students. Gandhi has been travelling to different cities to understand the challenges faced by young people. He believes that meeting students face to face helps him know their pain and their opinion at a deeper level. 

Students Asked to Share Their Problems and Suggestions

In his post on X Gandhi addressed students, youth and India’s Gen Z. He said a broken education system has extinguished the flame of their hopes and pushed their future into darkness. He invited students to share what is stopping them from achieving their dreams. Students can use the link shared by him or they can also send a video. He said their problems and suggestions together will bring hope back. 

In a video shared with the post Gandhi explained the objective of the programmes. The aim is to put the thoughts, expressions and fears of students before the country. He also wants to raise the issues that students want to be raised. He spoke about tribal students and students on hunger strike. He also spoke about the building collapse in Delhi where many students lost their lives. He said such examples exist across the country. 

Gandhi said the reality is that students have lost their faith in the education system. He wants students to talk about the exam system, the pressure it creates, hostels and accommodation. He also asked them to suggest the measures needed to restore their hope in India’s education system. 

The fifth edition of Chhatron ki Goonj gives students of Indore a platform to be heard. Gandhi believes that listening to every student is the first step towards fixing the education system.
