The Human Resource Development Minister has launched a week-long ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ campaign for crowdsourcing of ideas for improving the online education system in India. The online programme was launched by the HRD Ministry on April 10, 2020, in Delhi. The campaign which was launched last week is gaining popularity among the social media users according to the ministry. The ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ campaign is a one week programme for crowdsourcing of ideas in order to improve online education in India.
According to the ministry, the campaign aims to invite all the best minds of the country to share their suggestions or solutions directly with the HRD Ministry in order to overcome the problems of online education along with promoting the available digital education platforms.
The HRD Ministry has stated that it has received more than 3700 suggestions for the ‘Bharat Padhe Online’ campaign within just three days of its launch via twitter and email.
HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal while launching the Bharat Padhe Online campaign added that the campaign will allow all the best minds in the country to share their suggestions and solutions directly with the Education Ministry.
In a statement released by the HRD Ministry, it was stated that the people have been appreciating the initiative thanking the Ministry for promoting the online education system in the country. According to the ministry, the campaign has been promoted on social media in such a way that it was trending in the top 10 on twitter today.
