Delhi University Admissions 2019: DU will commence the ECA Trials i.e. Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) trials from today, as per the official notification. Students applying for Delhi University Admissions 2019 can appear for ECA Admission Trials from 25th June 2019 – Tuesday. The trials will conclude on 5th July 2019. Today, i.e. on Day 1 of the ECA Trials, the university will screen applicants who have applied under ECA Quota for Indian Classical Dance and Debate activities.
Extra-Curricular Activities Considered for Trials
A total of 14 extra-curricular activities are considered for ECA Quota Admissions to Delhi University. These include creative writing, dance, debate, digital media, fine arts, music, music instrumental (Indian), music instrumental (western), theatre, quiz, divinity, NCC, NSS and yoga.
ECA Trials – Marking Scheme
Candidates appearing for the ECA Trials for DU Admissions 2019 must note that the trials will be conducted in two phases i.e. Preliminary Round and Final Rounds, both of which will total to 75 marks. The rest of the 25 marks will be awarded on the basis of certificates provided by the candidates.
As per the DU Admission Notification 2019, the DU ECA Quota Admission Results 2019 will be announced on 6th July 2019. Candidates who qualify the ECA Trials in the Preliminary round will be called in for the final trials to be held from 9th July 2019 onwards. Complete schedule of ECA Trials is mentioned below:

In addition to notifying the ECA Trial Dates and other details, the university has also issued detailed instructions and guidelines to help applicants complete the admission process. The important guidelines and instructions to be followed by applicants for ECA Trials are as follows:

2. Carry Photo ID Proof issued by Government of India
3. Parents accompanying the students are not allowed at the ECA Trials venue
4. For Dance trials, the performance should be below 3 minutes mark
5. For Singing trials, the performance should be below 3 minutes
6. For Debate Trials, topic will be provided on the spot with 15 minutes of preparation time
7. For theatre trials, performance should be below 2:30 minutes
8. For Creative Writing, topic will be provided on the spot
9. For Classical Dance, film music will be prohibited too be used for performance
10. No Make-up or Props are allowed during ECA Trials
