1st PUC Result 2020 Karnataka Board Declared: According to thr report published by Times of India website, Karnataka 1^st PUC Result 2020 has been declared. DKPUCPA  has declared the 1st PUC results for Bangalore South District and Dakshin Kannada Districts. The results of Karnataka 1st PUC have been announced on the respective SuVidhya Results portals. Results for other districts for 1st PUE Exam 2020 will be delivered to the students via Mobile Phones soon. Media reports also claim that the district wise association of Junior Colleges of Karnataka State will release the Karnataka 1st PUC Result 2020 online on their respective websites. 

Owing to the on-going public health emergency around COVID-19, the results will be delivered to students via digital mode i.e. on their mobile phones or via emails or through the website only. Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said that “The results of the first year Pre-University Examinations will be announced on May 5. The results will be sent directly to students. Hence, colleges will not be displaying the results.”

1st PUC Result 2020 - Number of Students

According to the media reports, around 6.53 lakh students have appeared for the 1st PUC Results 2020 of Karnataka Board and are expecting their results today. Of the total number, the stream-wise break-up of number of students is as follows:

• Arts Stream: 2,00,801) are from arts
• Commerce Stream: 2.48 lakh
• Science Stream: 2.04 lakh

Result to be Declared via Mobile

Along with providing tentative date for the declaration of Karnataka 1st PUC Result 2020 i.e. for 11^th Class students, the report also claims that keeping in mind the current situation due to COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown announced due to it, the results will be delivered to the students via their mobile phones as an alert. Karnataka PU Result 2020 will be declared by the board as an alert on the registered mobile number of the students or the parents. Furthermore, the Pre-University Colleges have been directed not to display the results on their college notice boards to avoid students visiting the campus to check their results amid the lockdown.

Supplementary Exams for Students Who Fail

According to the report published by Deccan Herald, students who fail in the 1st PUC Exam 2020 will be given another chance to reappear for the exam in the supplementary examinations. The supplementary exams for 1^st Year PU students will be held at college level only. More details about the dates and other details about Karnataka PUC Supplementary Exam 2020 will be conveyed to the respective colleges soon. According to reports, Pre University Colleges will be free to start online classes for the students who clear the examination after the declaration of 1st PUC Result 2020.
