Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2021: As per the latest update, the Maharashtra State Government has decided to go ahead with holding the Maharashtra Class 11 Admission CET 2021 to facilitate FYJC Admissions 2021. For 2021 session, the 11th Class Admission Test has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reports have confirmed that the State Government has asked relevant agencies to begin preparation for holding the Maharashtra CET 2021 and in all likelihood it would be held after the second wave of COVID-19 subsides.

 

Statement of State Education Minister

The State Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad tweeted that, " in order to ensure uniformity for 11th admission and equal opportunity for all students we will conduct optional common entrance test for 11th admission. The common entrance test exam will be taken after the coronavirus outbreak subsides." She further added, " the entrance examination or CET will be conducted by the state board etc. It will be based on the 10th standard syllabus. There will be multiple choice questions for this 100 marks exam and two exams will be taken by OMR method." 

Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2021: CET Pattern

As per the media updates, the questions asked in the Common Entrance Test will be based on the syllabus of class 10th. There will be multiple-choice questions in the exam. Maharashtra CET will be held for 100 marks exam and two exams will be taken by the OMR method. However, the exam will be optional. 

Priority in Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2021

All the students who will take the common entrance test will be given admission based on marks secured in the exam. Also, they will be provided priority during the admission procedure of class 11th. Only after the admission process is completed for students who have given the entrance test, the admission process for other students will start. Those who have not given the relevant examination will get based on marks obtained in class 10th.
