UGC NET Result December 2023 Out Live Updates: NTA NET December Scorecard Out at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Candidates can now check the UGC NET cut off 2023 for Assistant Professor and JRF & Assistant Professor posts. The cut off marks has been released for each subject. 

The UGC NET result 2023 has not been released yet. Further, no communication has been made in this regard by the officials yet regarding the delay in the result. Students have been waiting anxiously for the release of the result.

The UGC NET result couls not be released yesterday, i.e. 17th January. However, it is expected that the rresiult could be released anytime today. 

If a candidate has forgotten his/her UGC NET applicaiton number then he/she may recover it using the following given step. 

• Visit the UGC NET websire which is ugcnet.nta.ac.in 
• Click the “forgot application number” button 
• Follow the procedure given there to get your application number.

The UGC NET is supposed to be released today, i.e. 17th January, however, the result has note been declared yet. More than 9 lakh students who appeared for the exam are waiting anxiously for the UGC NET December result. 

The UGC NET exam was held from 6th to 14th December 2023 in multiple shifts. Hence, the normalisation process will be used in the following cases. 

a) For multi-shift papers, raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score (percentile).

b) The detailed procedure on NTA Score being adopted is available on NTA website under Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score.

c) If a subject test is conducted in multi-shifts, NTA Score will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate. The calculated NTA Score for the Raw Marks for all the shifts/sessions will be merged for further processing for deciding the allocation.

d) In an event of the percentiles for the multi-shifts being dissimilar / unequal, the lowest will be the eligibility cut-off for that category for all candidates (i.e. all shifts).

NTA has not released any official notice regarding the delay in the UGC NET result 2023. Hence, the result will be released as per the schedule released by the NTA, i.e. on January 17th. 

The UGC NET scorecard will be released today along with the result. The candidates will be able to check the following details mentioned on the UGC NET scorecard. 

• Candidate’s Name
• Roll Number
• Application Number
• Father’s name
• Date
• Category
• Mother’s name
• Maximum marks
• Paper
• Marks and Percentile obtained in each paper
• Percentage of marks secured

NTA will release the UGC NET final answer key and cut off marks on the same day as the result date, which is today, January 17 2024. Once the result is announced, candidates will be able to check their qualifying status.

The candidates can download the UGC NET result only through the online mode by visiting the NTA website. The steps to download UGC NET result are as follows: 

• Visit the official website of UGC NET.
• Click on the UGC NET 2023 result link that appears on the homepage.
• Fill out the application number and date of birth.
• Fill the security pin as shown on the screen and click on the submit button. 
• The UGC NET result 2023 will appear on the screen 
• Download the result and save it for further use

UGC NET 2023 was held in December in two phases. A total of 9,45,918 candidates appeared for the exam.
