For many reasons the Indian students going to UK for pursuing education have setback. UK has observed a drop of 21% in study visas issued to Indian nationals in 2013 which to be told in figures is only 13,608 study visas to Indians. This revealed a 21 per cent decrease in study visas from India as compared to the previous year.
In the year 2013, Britain had got 14,762 applications in total, across all education sectors, which was 27 per cent lower when compared to the total received application in 2012. And, the same was with the case of university sponsored applications, which dropped by 7% to 12,832.
Britain issued a total 400,000 visas to Indians in 2013 that showed 5% growth than previous year.
