Bihar Gramin Bank invited application for recruitment to the post of Officers Scale-I and Office Assistant. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 31 July 2013

Bihar Gramin Bank invited online applications for recruitment to 169 posts of Officers (Junior Management -- Scale I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Candidates who have qualified the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates can apply online till 31 July 2013.

Bachelor degree in any discipline or equivalent + Proficiency in local language.

(Age will be reckoned as on 1 June 2012. Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 10 years for PWD candidates.)

Candidates must have passed “local language” as one of the subjects at Matriculation / class 10th.

IBPS Score Card: Candidates declared qualified in the RRBs-Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September 2012 should have obtained a Minimum Weighted Score, Total Weighted Standard Score and the Standard score in each test as per the details given in the notification.

Candidates should be able to produce the Score card in support of the scores mentioned in the online application form, if called for Interview.

Probation Period: Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years for Officers (Scale I) and 1 year for Office Assistant - MP

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in RRB CWE conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.

Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call candidates -- three times the number of vacancies -- short-listed on the basis of their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS). The total marks for Interview will be 30.

Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his / her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank. Appointment will also be subject to the Service & Conduct Rules of the Bank.

The Bank may at its discretion hold a second stage / conduct Supplementary process wherever necessary in respect of a centre / venue / specific post of a candidate(s)

Call Letters for Interview: All short-listed candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given in the application form. The call letters will be sent by post / courier.

Candidate will have to affix his / her photograph on the call letter and bring it along with original fee payment receipt and requisite enclosures while attending the Interview without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview.

Interview Centre: Interview will be held at the Head Office of the Bank. Address of the venue will be displayed on the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.

Bank reserves the right to cancel the centre and/or add some other centre/s.

Application Fee: Application fees of Rs.100 (Rs.20 for SC / ST / PWD / EXSM candidates) have to be deposited in CBS account No 38010210000356 either using a fee payment challan available on the Bank’s website in any branch of Bihar Gramin Bank OR by means of NEFT from branches of any other bank. Candidates depositing fees through NEFT should use IFS Code No UCBA0RRBBKG (where 0 is zero).

After depositing the fees, candidate should obtain the Applicant’s counterfoil copy of the Fee Payment Challan duly authenticated by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & code No, (b) Transaction ID / Scroll number (c) Date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official.

Without original CBS Challan receipt the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply online through Bank’s website till 31 July 2013. After submission of application candidate need to take its print out and retain it for further use.

Candidates will be required to produce / submit Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and copies of required documents, if short listed for Interview.

Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID (as specified in the online application form while applying for RRBs- Common Written Examination CWE conducted in September 2012) is kept active during the currency of a recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.

Candidates willing to serve anywhere in operational area of the Bank should only apply.

Note: It is clarified that Persons with Disabilities will have to work in Branches/Offices which have posts identified by the Bank as suitable for them.
