Bihar NHM CHO Salary Per Month
As Community Health Officer (CHО) under NHM, the selected candidates will receive remuneration of Rs 40,000 per month. However, the Bihar CHO in hand salary is divided into two parts, i.e. Fixed Pay and Performance Linked Payment. In brief, the fixed remuneration will be Rs 32,000 per month, while the remaining Rs 8000 per month will be payable as a performance-linked payment after considering various health indicators.
Bihar CHO Salary: Surety Bond
- Successful candidates shall work as CHOs at Health Sub Centres with the District Health Society (DHS) for at least 18 months from the date of joining. If they fail to do so, they will have to pay a recoverable amount equivalent to 06 months of total remuneration (Honorarium) equivalent to 2,40,000. No transfer claim shall be accepted during this period of 18 months.
- The selected candidates will have to sign a surety Bond of Rs 2,40,000 at the time of joining as CHO with the respective District Health Society. The bond will be furnished on stamp paper of Rs 1000, indicating that the appointed candidates shall serve as CHO for at least 18 months, failing which they will pay the 2,40,000/- through a Demand Draft.
