Sol. The two most important characteristics feature that makes it source of many carbon compound, characteristics - tetravalency and catenation.
Q. Explain why a ray of light passing through the centre of curvature of concave minor gets reflected along the same path.
Sol. The light falling on the centre of curvature is reflected back along the same path because incident ray falls on the mirror along the normal to the reflecting surface.
Q. What is the nature of the image formed by a concave mirror if the magnification produced by the minor is +3?
Sol. The image will be a minute structure reducing its size to 3 times, of its original structure will be virtual and erect.
