CBSE Class 12th Chemistry board exam 2017 was held today (i.e. 25th March) from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. In CBSE board exam 2017, 15 minutes time is allotted to read the question paper so, Class 12 Chemistry Papers were distributed to students at 10:15 AM and the examination began at 10:30.

Optional questions or choices in CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Board Paper 2017
There was no overall choice in the question paper. However, internal choices were provided in:
• 1 question of two marks
• 1 question of three marks
• All the 3 questions of 5 marks
This pattern is similar to previous year paper and latest sample paper issued by CBSE.
Overall, 31 questions were present in the paper. Out which 26 questions were need to be attempted within 3 hours of duration.

Nature of questions in CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Question Paper 2017
Mostly simple and straightforward questions
Most of the students pointed out that the question paper was easy with no out of syllabus questions. All questions in the paper were based on concepts given in CBSE Class 12 Chemistry NCERT textbook.
Overall balanced Paper
Many students reported that paper was quite straightforward and they have easily finished the paper within time.
General sense
CBSE Class 12th Chemistry paper in New Delhi region was quite easy, not only in terms of question but length as well. Most of the students are expecting more than 50 to 60 marks out of 70.
