CBSE Class 12 Physics board exam 2018 was held today (i.e., March 7, 2018) from 10.30 A.M. to 1.30 PM. More than 5 lakh students of CBSE Class 12 having Physics as one of their subjects appeared for this paper. In CBSE Board Exams, students get 15 minute time to read the question paper. As, per schedule, the questions papers were distributed at 10:15 AM and the paper started at 10:30 AM. The duration of the paper was 3 hours and it carried a total of 70 marks.

The pattern of the question paper was according to the latest Class 12 Physics Sample Paper (issued by CBSE). There were 5 sections in the paper i.e., (A, B, C, D and E). More details about each section is given below

Scheme of choices: There was an internal choice in one question of 2 marks weightage, one question of 3 marks weightage and all the three questions of 5 marks weightage.

Main points from the feedback of students

Difficulty level of question paper: Majority of students said ‘Difficult’. Some said ‘Medium’

Questions repeated from previous year papers: Some said 3 to 4 questions were almost similar

All the questions in the paper were from the syllabus

General review:

Many students said that numerical portion of the paper was a bit complicated. A group of students said that the paper was a bit lengthy.
