What is CBSE University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test?

CBSE conducts NET for the grant of junior research fellowship and eligibility for assistant professorship in universities and colleges. It is, however, only the conducting body and the e-certificates to qualified candidate are issued by UGC- NET Bureau.. The result this year is coming a late in comparison to previous year and is coupled with another point of discontent for the candidates, which is its conversation from bi-annual to annual exam.

The result will be announced in a scorecard format and will carry candidates' eligibility/qualification status and will also have the marks scored by a candidate in each of the three papers.  The result is expected to come out before 3pm but there is no official announcement in this regard, yet.

CBSE had released the answer key earlier in May and had given the candidates the option of filing objections. The fee for challenging the recorded responses marked on the OMR was Rs 1000 per question through credit/debit card.
