UPSC Topper Donuru Ananya Reddy obtained an AIR 3 in the final Civil Services 2023 result released on April 16, 2023, by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). She is also the female topper, as per the list by UPSC. Ananya Reddy opted Anthropology as her optional subject in the main exam.
Ananya Reddy hails from the Mahabubnagar district of Telangana. As per the reports, Ananya is just 22 years old, and this was her first attempt in the prestigious examination. Ananya is a geography graduate from Mirinda House (a constituent college for women at the University of Delhi in India). Ananya was born into a family where her father is self-employed and her mother is a homemaker. Ananya is the first in her family to achieve such a prestigious position in the civil service.

In an interview with Telangana Today, she revealed that apart from receiving coaching for Anthropology optional in Hyderabad, she mostly prepared for the examination on her own.
