Animesh Pradhan UPSC AIR 2 Rank Holder: A Journey of Inspiration and Resilience
Animesh Pradhan, a B.Tech. graduate from NIT Rourkela, secured AIR 2 in UPSC 2023. Raised in Talcher. His dedication and perseverance serve as an example of success over difficulties, proving that hard work overcomes obstacles in the achievement of dreams
UPSC 2024: Animesh Pradhan, who secured AIR 2 in the final Civil Services 2023 result released on April 16, 2023, by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Animesh is a B.Tech. graduate in computer science from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela and has chosen sociology as his optional subject.
Animesh completed his schooling at DAV Public School, MCL, Kalinga region, and comes from Bhalugadia hamlet in the Talcher area of Angul district. He also scored 98.8% in his intermediate exams and is currently working as an Information System Officer at the esteemed Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Animesh's Journey: Triumph Against Odds
There have been difficulties in Animesh's journey to success. He lost both of his parents, which was tragic. In Talcher, his father, Prabhakar Pradhan, was the respected chairperson of Hingula Mahavidyalaya. Sadly, he passed away in 2017, which left Animesh with a huge void in his life. Animesh had also lost his mother, Aruna Patra, last January.
In spite of all of these challenges, Animesh has become an inspiration to a lot of people. His constant concentration, hard work, and dedication drove him to achieve his dreams. His academic achievement and subsequent role to a prominent position at Indian Oil Corporation Limited give evidence to his determination and stamina and helped him achieve success at UPSC.
Animesh's also got support from his sister, who is working with the Horticulture Department. Their combined achievement highlights the virtues of perseverance, hard work, and familial support that have supported them through the ups and downs of life.
Ultimately, Animesh's story is not just one of individual success but also one of inspiration and hope for a great number of people. It strengthens the conviction that anyone who is prepared to put in the necessary time and effort to achieve their objectives can overcome any challenge.
