DSSSB Teacher Recruitment 2019 (982 Vacancy) @dsssbonline.nic.in: Check Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus

DSSSB Teacher Recruitment 2019 Application process to begin from 16 September 2019.  Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) released the recruitment notification to fill in 982 Vacancies to the posts of Primary Teachers, Nursery Teachers and Junior Engineers in Delhi Schools and Delhi Jal Board. DSSSB Teacher recruitment application process will be conducted during 16 September - 15 October 2019. DSSSB JE Notification and DSSSB PRT Notification 2019 with details about the application process, eligibility, selection process, DSSSB PRT Syllabus and DSSSB primary teacher salary will be released soon on the official website dsssbonline.nic.in or dsssb.delhi.gov.in, 

DSSSB Primary Teacher Vacancy and Junior Engineer vacancy will be filled through the written examination. A total 982 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive to the posts of Assistant Teacher (Primary & Nursery) under the Directorate of Education and Junior Engineer (Civil) under the Delhi Jal Board. Of these total 982 vacancies, 637 posts will be filled for Assistant Teacher (Primary), 141 Posts for Assistant Teacher (Nursery) and 204 Posts for Junior Engineer (Civil). The selection of teachers and engineers will be done on the basis of written examination.

However, we have provided here the exam pattern and syllabus for DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary & Nursery) and Junior Engineer (Civil), on the basis of previous years’ trends.

DSSSB Teacher/ Junior Engineer Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria detailing about the age limit, nationality, and educational qualification required for the posts of Assistant Teacher (Primary), Assistant Teacher (Nursery) and Junior Engineer (Civil) will be revealed along with the official Notification. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is expected to release the Teacher Recruitment notification on 16 September 2019 itself. However, check here the eligibility criteria based on previous years notification:

• Assistant Teacher (Primary) – 12th Passed with at least 50% marks + 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
• Assistant Teacher (Nursery) - 12th Passed or Intermediate with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board/university + Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme/B.Ed. (Nursery)
• J.E. (Civil) – Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/3 year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised university/Board.

DSSSB Teacher Recruitment 2019 Exam Pattern

DSSSB Teacher Recruitment exam is conducted in the offline mode. The exam comprises of 2 stages- Tier I and Tier II, followed by a skill test for some posts. However, for some posts of DSSSB, candidates need to appear for only tier 1 exam. The DSSSB Teacher Tier 1 exam will have two sections- Section A & Section B. Check here the detailed exam pattern:

Candidates who would qualify the Tier 1 will be shortlisted for the second round.

Marking Scheme: There will be a penalty for every wrong answer given by the candidate. 0.25 marks or one-fourth of the marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. Each question carries 1 mark.
