DUTA to Urge New Government to Rollback FYUP

May 22, 2014 15:17 IST

The Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) said on 21 May 2014 that it will soon push the newly-elected Bharatiya Janata Party Central government to rollback the four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP) scheme from the DU education campus.

The Delhi University launched the FYUP education scheme in its campus last year.

DUTA chief, Nandita Narain, said that they will remind the ruling party of its resolution to rollback the FYUP and appeal to the newly-elected Prime Minister to take urgent steps to ensure that this important intervention is made before the implementation of admissions process for the current academic session to be started in June.
