Below is the textbook prescribed by Haryana Board for Class 10 Sanskrit:
Criteria of Theory and Practical Examination
1. There will be an annual examination on the basis of the entire course.
2. The annual examination will be of 80 marks and the internal assessment will be of 20 marks.
Criteria of Internal Assessment
For internal evaluation, there will be periodic evaluation as follows:-
(i)Two SATs and one pre-board exam will be conducted for 6 marks. The final internal assessment in those examinations will have a weightage of 4+2=06 marks.
(ii) One half yearly exam will be conducted and will have a weightage of 02 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
(iii) For 2 marks - Teachers will assess for Classroom Participation (CRP) and give a maximum of two marks towards the final internal assessment.
(iv)For 5 marks - Students will do project work which will have a weightage of 05 marks towards the final internal assessment.
(v)For 5 marks - A maximum of 05 marks will be awarded for the attendance of the students as follows:-
- 75% to 80% - 01 marks
- Above 80% to 85% - 02 marks
- Above 85% to 90% - 03 marks
- Above 90% to 95% - 04 marks
- Above 95% to 100% - 05 marks
