Candidates who wish to work in banking services must fulfil eligibility criteria, which include meeting age, educational, and nationality requirements.

IBPS Clerk Age Limit 2024
As per the official notification, candidates for the IBPS Clerk recruitment must be at least 20 years old. The age of the candidates will be determined as of July 1, 2024. The maximum age of the candidates should not be more than 28 years, i.e., the candidates should have been born not earlier than July 2, 1996 and not later than July 1, 1994 (both dates inclusive). However, relaxation in age will be given to reserved category candidates

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification 2024
The candidates applying for the announced vacancies should have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Candidates must ensure that they have completed the required educational qualifications and result should have been declared on or before July 21, 2024.
IBPS Clerk Nationality
To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk exam the candidate must be:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of
permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and
Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of
permanently settling in India,
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
