Eligibility Criteria for Scientist Post

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Scientist 'D' (Medical) - MD/DNB in Medicine/Community Medicine/Pediatrics/Obstetrics & Gynecology/ Microbiology with 5 years R&D/teaching experience required after MD/DNB in the required subjects or Postgraduate Diploma in the above medical subjects with six years R&D/teaching experience required after Postgraduate Diploma in the required subject from recognized university. Out of above 2 years experience in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity Or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS Degree. Out of above 2 years experience in a managerial position to handle R&D projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity
• Scientist ‘C’ (Non-Medical) - First class Master’s degree in Biotechnology or Microbiology from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after First class Master’s degree OR Second Class Master’s degree in Biotechnology or Microbiology with Ph.D. degree In relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc + Ph.D
• Scientist ‘C’ (Medical) - Post graduate degree (MD/DNB in Medicine/Community Medicine/Pediatrics/Obstetrics & Gynecology/ Microbiology) with one years R & D/teaching experience required after MD/DNB in the required subject or Post Graduate Diploma in Medicine/Community Medicine/ Pediatrics/Obstetrics & Gynecology/ Microbiology with two years R & D/teaching experience required after Post Graduate Diploma OR MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 4 years R&D/Teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS Degree.
• Scientist ‘B’ (Non-Medical) - First class Master’s degree in concerned subject
• Scientist ‘B’ (Medical) - MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 2 years experience

Age Limit:

• Scientist 'D' (Medical) - 45 Years
• Scientist ‘C’ (Non-Medical) - 40 Years
• Scientist ‘C’ (Medical) - 40 Years
• Scientist ‘B’ (Non-Medical) - 35 Years
• Scientist ‘B’ (Medical) - 35 Years
