Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 3 posts – 2 posts of Technical Officer-A (TO-A) – one with Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) at Port Blair, one with ICMR Headquarter at New Delhi and one post of Scientist ‘D’ (Pharmacology) with RMRC, Belgaum. Discipline: Social Anthropology or Microbiology
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4600 per month

Qualifications and Experience: Graduate in required subject with at-least 5 years experience or Graduate in related subjects with Diploma in required subject or PG degree in required subject with 3 years relevant work experience.
2. Scientist ‘D’ (Pharmacology) with RMRC, Belgaum: One post
Discipline: Pharmacology
Pay Scale: Pay Band -3 of Rs. 15600 - 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600per month

Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

Qualifications: MBBS OR M.Sc. in Pharmacology / MS (Pharma) in Pharmacology and Toxicology/ M.Pharma. (Pharmacology) or equivalent with Ph.D. in the above subjects;
Experience: 8 years R&D experience in relevant area of which at least 2 years should be in a Managerial position.
3. Technical Officer-A with ICMR Headquarter, New Delhi: One post (reserved for OBCs)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with GP of Rs. 4600 per month

Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
Qualifications and Experience: B.Sc. in Computer Science with 5 years relevant work experience or B.Sc. in Computer Science with Diploma in Software Development / Web Development and 3 years experience in Web Development using LAMP/ Advance JAVA/ NET.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the test / Interview.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
Candidates will be required to submit Original documents at the time of test/ interview.
Candidates called for interview for the post of Scientist ‘D’ at RMRC, Belgaum will be paid Ist class rail fare by the shortest route on production of documents. The post carries All India Transfer Liability under the Council.

Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
