Eligibility Criteria for Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant and Other Posts
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant (Chemistry/Physics) - Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Physics or allied subjects with at least 55% marks from a recognised institution with minimum 4 years relevant experience.
- Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) - Three years’ Diploma in concerned subject with at least 55% marks from a recognised institution with minimum 4 years relevant experience and should have experience of working in MS-Office and other computer softwares relevant to the area of work/specialization
- Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant (Glass Blowing) - 10+2 and two years certificate training course in Scientific Glass Blowing from training centre of Govt. Scientific Glass Blowing training centre, Guindy (Chennai), TIFR (Bombay), BARC (Bombay), NPL (Delhi), NCL (Pune) and CSIR institutions with minimum 4 years relevant experience
- Senior Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant (Chemistry) - Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or allied subjects with at least 55% marks from a recognised institution with minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Senior Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant (Electrical) - Three years’ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution with minimum 3 years relevant experience

Selection will be done on the basis of Written & Computer Tests and Practical-cum Aptitude Test for Senior Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant Post and Written Test & Computer Test for Technical Assistant/ Scientific Assistant Post
