IOCL Notified for Recruitment of Engineering Assistant (Operations)

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Government of India Undertaking, is the largest commercial undertaking and India’s No.1 Company in Fortune magazine’s prestigious listing of the world’s 500 largest Corporations. It is ranked 83rd for the year 2012 based on fiscal 2011 performance. Its Pipelines Division owns and operates the largest network of over 10,000 kms of crude oil, petroleum product and gas pipelines.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Engineering Assistant (Operations) in Pay Scale of Rs. 11900 – 32000 Grade IV in Haldia-Mourigram-Rajbandh-Barauni Pipeline (HMRBPL) of Pipeline Division.
(The post is reserved for OBC candidates.)

Age limit: maximum 29 yrs (as on 01 August 2012).  (The upper age limit mentioned includes age relaxation of 3 yrs for OBC candidates as the post is reserved for them.)

Educational Qualification: 3 (Three) year Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Automobile / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Radio Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation & Process control Engineering from a government recognized institute with minimum 55% marks.

•    Working knowledge of computer is desirable.

Experience: Preferably two-years post qualification experience in relevant area.
Remuneration: In addition to the Basic Pay, D.A., HRA, and other benefits like Provident Fund, Gratuity, LTC / LFA, liberalized medical benefits, productivity / performance linked incentive, leave encashment, superannuation benefits,
Post Retirement Medical Attendance benefits etc. shall also be admissible as per the rules of the Corporation.

Mode of Selection: The selection process would comprise of a Written Test followed by Trade test and Personal Interview of successful candidates from Written Test. Admit card for written test shall be sent to the eligible candidates by post. The name of eligible candidates for written test will also be displayed in “Careers – Latest Job Openings” section of Indian Oil website www.iocl.com . The candidates will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness successfully for being adjudged as suitable for selection.
