UPSC 2022: Strategy Suggested By Saloni Verma

Let us first talk about Saloni Verma. She secured All India  Rank 70 in UPSC 2020. She credits her success to the Internet and Self Study. Saloni said, "Self-study is the best weapon for any UPSC aspirant. You have good internet service and can study well, everything is available online."

Saloni was originally from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. Now you can imagine what motivated this female to become an IAS officer without using any classes. Saloni spent most of her time in Delhi and after graduation, she decided to go for Civil Services. Her first attempt went in vain but she hit the bullseye in her second attempt. UPSC 2022: Strategy Suggested By Prakhar Kumar Singh

Similar is the story of Prakhar Kumar Singh, who cracked Civil Services securing 29th Rank in the UPSC 2020 exam. Prakhar in an interview said, that his UPSC Mains exam and Interview went well. Prakhar also cleared the exam on the second attempt, says that he chose Electrical Engineering as his optional subject. He did his graduation in this subject and he could prepare well for it, so he chose it. 

Prakhar's strategy was to prepare thoroughly through the books of NCERT and read them again and again. To deal with negative marks, he said that he solved previous years papers as well. Prakhar suggested following other toppers strategies like he followed using the interviews and tips available online.
