Eligibility Criteria for Deputy Chief Engineer and Assistant Engineer Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Deputy Chief Engineer (Design): BE/B. Tech (Civil Engineering) from reputed institute/university with minimum 60% marks. Minimum 12 Yrs experience in structural design of Bridges / Viaducts / flyovers for Railway/Road/Metro loading based on Indian (sound knowledge of IS, IRS, IRC and other relevant codes related to design)/International (EURO, BS & AASTHO) standards & basic design philosophy. Preference shall be given to Candidate having experience in design of superstructure comprising of steel structures, composite structures, segmental bridges, U-girder, I-girder, balanced cantilever box girder with pre-stressed concrete technology and should be proficient in use of various Structural Design software (like STAAD, MIDAS, LUSAS, SOFISTK etc.). Age Limit: 55 years as on 01 January 2020.
- Assistant Engineer (Design): BE/B Tech (Civil Engineering) from reputed institute/university with minimum 60% marks. Minimum 02 Yrs experience in structural design of Bridges/Viaducts/flyovers for Railway/Road/Metro loading based on Indian (sound knowledge of IS, IRS, IRC and other relevant codes related to design) & basic design philosophy. Age Limit: 50 years as on 01 January 2020.
