- Environmental Engineering: First class M. Tech/ M.E. in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
- Geo Informatics: First class M. Tech/M.E. in Geo Informatics or equivalent.
- Structural Engineering: First class M. Tech/M.E. in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Quantitative Techniques/Transport Economics: PhD in Statistics/Operations Research/Economics.
- Highway Engineering: First class M. Tech/ M.E. in Transportation/Highway Engineering or equivalent.
- Urban Planner/Transport Planner: First class M. Tech/M. Plan in Transport Planning/Urban Planning or equivalent.
- Hydraulics/Ocean studies: First class M. Tech/ ME in Hydraulics/Water Resources Engineering or equivalent.
- Traffic & Transportation: First class M. Tech/ME in Traffic & Transportation Engineering or equivalent.
- Age Limit: 35 years.
