NHM Punjab Recruitment 2019 for 1000+ Vacancies Notification & Application: National Health Mission (MHM Mission) has invited applications for 6-Months Bridge Certificate Program (Certificate) in Community Health. Candidates who successfully complete this course will be posted as Community Health Officers (CHOs).
Eligible candidates can apply for NHM Punjab Community Health Officer Posts through 6-Months Bridge Program. Online applications are invited from 18 May 2019 to 30 May 2019 upto 05:00 pm through official website www.bfuhs.ac.in.
Candidates seeking to apply for the course should possess B.Sc in Nursing OR from a recognized Institute/University. They should be registered with Punjab Nursing Registration Council. Alternatively, BAMS from recognized University or Statutory State Board and Enrolment on State Register or Central Register of Ayurveda.
The selection for Bridge Program will be done through Written test of 100 Marks conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and Merit List shall be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in the written test.
NHM Bridge Program Course is part of an initiative under the National Health Mission to strengthen Sub- Centers as Health & Wellness Centers (H&WCs) for improved implementation of public health programmes and to enable comprehensive primary health care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion.
The officers will lead a primary health care team consisting of frontline workers such as the female health workers (ANMs), male health worker (MPW), and ASHAs.
