The Indo-German CEP invites application from Indian Scholars employed in higher educational institutions to visit South-Asia Institute in Heidelberg for Baden Wurttemberg Fellowship-2013. Universities/ Institutions can send in their nominee teachers to UGC headquarters in Delhi till 31 January 2013.
The selected candidate will be on a three month (annually) visit and work to South-Asia Institute in Heidelberg, Germany. In addition, they will be provided to-and-fro air fare as well as allowances to cover board, lodging, incidentals and local transport by the German side during his/her visit to Germany as per provisions of Indo-German CEP.
Teachers can be nominated from any of the following 7 disciplines viz Economics, Anthropology, Geography, History, Ideology, Political Science and South- Asian Studies. The application should be sent to Officer (IC), Room No. 508-A, University Grants Commission, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110 002 along with bio-data and plan of work in triplicate in the prescribed enclosed performa. However, applications from candidates who have availed UGC assistance to travel abroad in the last three years will not be entertained.
It is to be noted by the University/Institution nominating the teacher that they will have to provide him/ her with full salary and allowances for the duration of visit and would treat him/ her as ‘On Duty’ without any contribution from UGC towards the salary of the teacher.
