ONGC Recruitment 2016 for 34 Assistant Technician, Jr. Technician, and other Posts

ONGC invited applications for recruitment to the post  reserved for the Persons  with  Disabilities  (PWD) for the posts of Assistant Technician, Jr. Technician, Technical Assistant, and Junior Fireman for appointment at Chennai, Karaikal, and Assam. The candidates eligible for the post under PWD category can apply through the prescribed format on or before 10 October 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Technician, Jr. Technician, and other  Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Assistant Technician : candidate should have completed 03 years Diploma in concerned discipline from a recognised institute.

Technical Assistant GD III ( Chemistry) : candidate should have Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry from a recognised university.

Assistant Technician (Boiler): candidate should have completed 03 years Diploma in concerned discipline from a recognised institute and should have first class Boiler Attendant Certificate.

Junior Assistant Technician : candidate should have completed High school or equivalent forma recognized board and ITI Trade certificate  in the concerned trade. Candidate should have competency certificate in the electrical supervisor for Junior Assistant Technician (Electrical Post).

Junior Assistant (Materials Management): candidate should have B.Sc. with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects with proficiency in typing with speed of 30 w.p.m. and should have Certificate/Diploma of minimum duration of six months in computer applications in the office environment

Junior Assistant (Personnel & Administration) : candidate should be Graduate with typing  speed of 30 w.p.m. and should have Certificate/Diploma of minimum duration of six months in computer applications in the office environment.

Junior Assistant (Steno- English): candidate should be Graduate with typing  speed of 30 w.p.m. and Shorthand Speed of 80 WPM  and should have Certificate/Diploma  of minimum  duration of six months in computer applications in the office environment

Junior Assistant (Accounts) : candidate should be B.Com with typing  speed of 30 w.p.m. and should have Certificate/Diploma  of minimum  duration of six months in computer applications in the office environment.

Junior Assistant (Technician welding): candidate should have completed High School or equivalent with Science and should have ITI Trade certificate in the Wielding.

Junior Fireman: candidate should have completed High School or equivalent and Fireman is Training of 03 Months duration and should have valid  HMV driving license. 

Selection Process for Assistant Technician, Jr. Technician, and other Posts

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the written examination.
