Eligibility Criteria for Pondicherry University Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Scientist : Ph.D. with research work done in fields of Radiogenic isotope Geology / Geochemistry.
  
  Desirable : Research experience in Thermal Ionization Mass-spectrometer Lab, Conversant with chemical treatment and preparation of geological samples for Sr, Nd and Pb isotope analysis using the TIMS
• Technical Assistant : M. Sc. in Geology / Applied Geology / Marine Geology.
  
  Desirable : Working experience in Isotope Geochemical Lab

Age Limit for Posts under Pondicherry University 2017

• Scientist : Less than 35 years
• Technical Assistant : Less than 30 years
