The PSEB Class 11 Syllabus 2024-2025 is typically divided into five sections, each focusing on a crucial aspect of Punjabi language:

1. Good Handwriting (5 Marks): This section emphasizes the importance of clear and legible writing in Punjabi. Students can be assessed on proper letter formation, spacing, and overall presentation.

2. Punjabi Folk Literature - Folk Songs and Folklore (27 Marks): This section includes rich tapestry of Punjabi folk tales, proverbs, and songs, emphasising the cultural significance, themes, and literary devices used in Punjabi language.

3. Translation from English to Punjabi (18 Marks): This section involves translating English passages into Punjabi, and assessing students for technical vocabulary. It includes sentences related to banking, railways, postal, computer and insurance services.

4. Punjabi Language Writing Skills (18 Marks): This section focuses on various writing formats like essays, letters, advertisements, invitations and paragraph composition.

5. Grammar (12 Marks): This section will test students’understanding of Punjabi idioms.
