Eligibility Criteria for PRT, TGT, PGT and Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

• PGT - integrated Post Graduate M.Sc.Ed / Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject. B.Ed and competence to teach through English media
• PGT (Physical Education) - M.P.Ed. from a recognized university in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate
• PGT (Guidance Counselor) - M.A./M.Sc. (Psychology) from a recognized College or University + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling OR M.A./M.SciM.Com with B.Ed / M.Ed qualification + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling
• TGT - Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject OR   Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate. B.Ed and competence to teach through English media
• WET (Yoga) - Graduation in any subject from a recognized University and one year course / Certificate / Diploma in Yoga / one year training in Yoga from a recognized institute.
• WET (Computer Science) - 1 Post
• WET (Dance) - Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts (dance) from Fine Arts College and Diploma in Dance
• WET (Drama) - Bachelors Degree in Drama from Fine Arts College or Any Bachelors Degree with Diploma in Drama from the recognized Institute
• WET (Home Science) - B.Sc (Home Science), B.Ed from a recognized University
• PRT - 10+2 with 50% marks Or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and TCH after senior secondary or D.Ed. or B.Ed. or equivalent or B.EI.Ed. Competence to teach through English
• Lab. Assistant (Physics) - B.Sc (PCM) or Diploma Mechanical Engineering and experience of handling of Mechanical / Electrical Electronics Science instruments
• Lab. Assistant (Computer Science) - B.Sc in Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science and experience in handling computer lab

Age Limit:

• PGTs - 40 Years
• TGTs/WETs - 35 Years
• PRTs/Lab Assistant - 30 Years
