RRB JE 2019 CBT-1Exam (22nd May to 2nd June 2019 & 26th to 28th June, 2019)
RRB JE 1st stage CBT consisted of total 100 questions of 1 mark each in the MCQ Format. Questions asked in the exam consisted of easy to moderate level questions in different subjects. Also, there was negative marking of 1/3rd marks for wrong answers. RRB JE 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the normalized score of 1st stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage exam as per their merit.

After clearing the cut-off marks, students are advised to look at the below points for further selection procedures:
- Phase-II: Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for 2nd Stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit in total or for any specific category(s) as required to ensure availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts.

- Phase-III: Document Verification/ Medical Examination
Short listing of Candidates for the DV shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 2nd Stage CBT. Candidates called for Document Verification will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of Railway staff.
