11. Will there be any NEGATIVE MARKING in RRB JE 2019 Exam?
Answer: There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
12. Will the RRB JE 2019 Exam be conducted in ONLINE OR OFFLINE mode?
Answer: RRB JE 2019 Exam will be conducted in online mode consisting of Objective Multiple Choice Questions.
13. Will there be a SECTIONAL CUT-OFF in RRB JE 2019 Exam?

1. 1st Stage CBT

15. What are the Medical Standards for Different RRB JE Posts?
Answer: Candidates called for Document Verification will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. 16. What will be the process of short listing candidates at 1st Stage CBT, 2nd Stage CBT Round of RRB JE 2019 Exam?
Answer: Short listing of Candidates for the DV shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in 2nd Stage CBT. The normalization scheme to be adopted for short listing the candidates from 1st Stage CBT to 2nd Stage CBT and for DV on the basis of performance in 2nd Stage CBT is detailed below:

Whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus, the raw marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will be converted to normalized marks.

The raw marks for single session paper and normalized marks for multi session paper will be used for computing Merit Index, which is a common benchmark for generating merit for candidates from different Exam Groups.
17. What is the current PAY SCALE and SALARY Structure of RRB Junior Engineer (JE) after 7th Pay Commission?
Answer: Pay Scale for Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) is Level 06 as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 35400/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.
