Shooting Increase in the Number of Applicants Noted for Jobs By the SSC

The number of applicants for jobs by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has shown a marginal increase in the past four years. For more information, read ahead.

The number of applicants for jobs by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has shown a marginal increase in the past four years .

The increase has geared itself from being 10.27 Lakhs applicants in 2008-09 to being 88.65 Lakh in 2011-12.

Also the number of applicants have already crossed more than one crore in this financial year (2012-13).

The minister of State congratulated and lauded the Commission for having introduced the tri-lingual papers in some examinations and conducting the examinations in thirteen regional languages in various States of the country which enabled greater participation of the youth in applying for govt. jobs
