  • Assistant Photographer – 1 Post
  • Fertiliser Inspector– 1 Post
  • Farm Assistant– 1 Post
  • Junior Technical Assistant– 10 Posts
  • Deputy Ranger -10 Posts
  • Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical) -1 Post
  • Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade –I -2 Posts
  • Laboratory Assistant -1 Post
  • Draughtsman Grade-III -1 Post

Eligibility Criteria for Jr Technical Assistant, Deputy Ranger, and Other Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Assistant Photographer: Matriculation or equivalent of recognized University or Board with minimum one year’s experience in photography including document photography.

Fertiliser Inspector: Graduation in Agriculture or Science with Chemistry from a recognized University. Possessing one year experience in handling or analysis of fertilizers.

Farm Assistant: 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with a Certificate Course or training in Agriculture from a recognized institute and at least one year experience of work at an Agriculture Farm of Central or State Government or Public sector undertaking.

Junior Technical Assistant: Certificate in Forest Ranger’s course from any recognized Institute/Graduate in Science/Computer Science. 

Deputy Ranger: 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from Recognized Board  or University with Two years experience in Forest Survey or Working Plan organization or Forest Resources Survey work in State Forest Department.

Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical): Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.

Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade –I : M.Sc. (Chemistry or Physics)from a recognised university.

Laboratory Assistant: Intermediate or Senior Secondary or 12th pass with Science or Agriculture subjects from a recognized Board or University with three years experience in Laboratory work in any  reputed laboratory.

Draughtsman Grade-III : Two  years  Diploma  in Draughtsmanship  qualification from a recognized Board or Institute with Two  years  experience  of  routine  tracing  and  map preparation from a recognized institute.

Selection Process for Jr Technical Assistant, Deputy Ranger, and Other Posts

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and Interview.

Eligible candidates can send the applications online through the Commissions official portal on or before 7 June 2017. Candidates are also required to send the hard copy of application to ‘The Dy. Regional Director (NWR),Staff Selection Commission, North-Western Region, Ground Floor, Kendriya Sadan, Sector-9A, Chandigarh’ within ten days from the closing date.
