UP Board Class 12 Agricultural Economics Syllabus 2024-25: For the session 2024-25, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), commonly known as the UP Board, has made available the syllabus for classes 9-12. The syllabus has been released on the official website of UPMSP at upmsp.edu.in. Here we have provided the syllabus for the subject Agricultural Economics. It involves the application of economic theory to evaluate the production and distribution of food.
Agricultural Economics combines the fields of agriculture and economics. It deals with the problem of maximizing crop yield while not preventing damage to the soil ecosystem among others. Agricultural economists can find job prospects in both government and private sectors. In this article we have provided the syllabus for Agricultural Economics so that students can plan and design their study plan accordingly.
UP Board Class 12 Agricultural Economics Course Structure
Since the Board examination will be based on the latest syllabus only, students should study the latter carefully for information on course structure and marking scheme. There are seven sections in the Agricultural Economics course syllabus. The first section is Elementary Economics which has a weightage of 15 marks. The second section is Exchange with 10 marks. The Distribution section is of 5 marks and Consumption is of 5 marks.
Sections five, six and seven each hold weightage of 5 marks. Students must note that no textbook has been recommended by the Board. Students can select the same as per the curriculum after consultation with the head subject teacher of their school.
