Candidates who have appeared for the UPSC CAPF (AC) 2019 Exam on 18th August 2019 can check the expected cut-off marks here. Based on the difficulty level of Paper-1 and Paper-2, we have guestimated the Cut-Off Marks of UPSC CAPF (AC) 2019 Exam. UPSC has conducted the Exam for Assistant Commandant Post in CAPF for total 323 vacancies in BSF (100), CRPF (108), CISF (28), ITBP (21) and SSB (66). Let’s first look at the Exam Pattern UPSC CAPF (AC) 2019 Paper-1 & 2 and based on that we will share the Expected cut-off for the Exam:

UPSC CAPF (AC) 2019 Exam Pattern – 18th August 2019

UPSC CAPF (AC) 2019 Exam consisted of two papers – Paper-1 (250 Marks) and Paper-2 (200 Marks) for total 450 marks. Paper-1 & Paper-2 were conducted in different shift timings. Paper-1 was conducted in offline mode in Objective MCQs format. Paper-2 (Descriptive Test) was also conducted in offline mode in Essay writing format. Also, there was negative marking of 1/3rd marks for wrong answers in Paper-1. Candidates must note that Paper-1 will be evaluated first and evaluation of Paper-2 will be done only of those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-1.

After clearing the cut-off marks, students are advised to look at the below points for further selection procedures:

Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests: Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be summoned for Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

Interview/Personality Test: Candidates who are declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Interview/Personality Test to be conducted by UPSC. The Interview/Personality Test will carry 150 Marks. Candidates who are short-listed for Interview/Personality Test, including those shortlisted for Interview/Personality Test provisionally will be issued a Detailed Application Form (DAF) in which among other things, they will be required to indicate their preference of Forces.

Final Selection/ Merit: The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.
