UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2019 Notification & Online Application: The online registration for Combined Defence Services 2019 (CDS I) will end on November 26, 2018. All the candidates who have not applied yet for the above notification can still apply at the earliest at upsconline.nic.in.
As per media reports, a total of 418 posts of Commissioned Officers in Navy, Air Force, Army and Officers Training Academy (OTA) will be filled up via UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2019. The last date to apply for the posts is set till 26 November 2018. The examination will be conducted on 03 February 2019 across the country.
Candidates who are between the age group of 20 to 24 years can apply for the position. The candidate will have to be a graduate from recognised University/College/Institute to apply for the same.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2019
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
• Candidates applying for I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy should have Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
• Candidates applying for Indian Naval Academy should have Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
• Candidates applying for Air Force Academy should have Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Selection Process for UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2019
The selection process comprises of the following phases:
• Written Examination
• Interview and Personality Test
• Medical Fitness Test
At the first stage, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written examination. Such candidates are called for the Interview round. Those who get through the Interview/Personality Test round have to undergo a medical fitness test. Document verification is done after the medical test.

Eligibility Criteria for Combined Defence Services Examination
Educational Qualification:
- For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy— Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
- For Indian Naval Academy—Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.

Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

- For IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
- For Indian Naval Academy—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2 nd July, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
- For Air Force Academy— 20 to 24 years
- For Officers' Training Academy—(SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 2000 only are eligible.
- For Officers' Training Academy—(SSC Women Non-Technical Course): They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 2000.
